Can Yoga & Meditation Help Manages Bronchitis?

Yoga and meditation can help manage bronchitis by improving lung function and reducing symptoms:

  • Breathing exercises

Yoga’s breathing exercises, or pranayama, can help improve lung capacity, expand the chest and airways, and increase oxygen intake.

  • Asanas

Yoga poses, or asanas, can help strengthen the lungs and improve breathing efficiency. Some asanas that may help with bronchitis include Ardha chakrasana, Kati chakrasana, Gomukhasana, Ustrasana, Bhujangasana, and Setubandasana.

  • Kriyas

Kriya practices like jala neti and sutra neti can help clear nasal congestion and reduce mucus buildup.

  • Meditation

Meditation can help provide beneficial effects by modulating the brain’s cortico-limbic-hypothalamic systems
